Quilt Racks
These are usually just free standing racks used to display quilts once they are finished. They can also be used to store your unfinished quilts until you have time to get back to them. These come in a wide variety of shapes and styles.
Quilt Hangers
These are used to hang finished quilts on a wall for display. Some have just the hanger and others have a shelf on top to display other items or knickknacks. The main advantage of these is to display your quilt on the wall without having to poke holes through it with pins or tacks.

Quilting Books/DVDs
There are many quilting books and DVD learning products out on the market. They come in all levels of expertise. They generally include instructions, hints, and a variety of designs and patterns. There are also a lot of very good instructional web sites and videos on the internet.
Quilting Carriers
A lot of quilters like to go to gatherings, quilt shows or groups to have fun and socialize. In order to do this without your project getting disorganized and getting completely frustrated, you might want something to carry your stuff in. There are specially designed bags that are meant to hold your fabric and tools. There are wheeled totes that you can use to carry your machine. A simple carrier would just be a large tote bag. Tip - An excellent carrier for pieced blocks that are not yet sewn into a quilt are clean pizza boxes (just ask you local pizzeria if you can purchase one box of each size).
